Exterior modernisation at Weston Favell shopping centre.

Weston Favell shopping centre upgrade and refresh to exterior walls in Nottingham .

The Weston Favell shopping centre is well known with thousands of visitors from all over the city. Since being built in the 1970’s the centre needed a refresh on the exterior to allow it to blend in with a modern clean and tidy architecture.

We were subcontracted to work on the shopping centre and successfully refreshed the exterior walls by the implementation of Knauf Aquapanels. Furthermore, we reinforced the render and completed it with a silicon topcoat.

Grade 2 Listed Building Conversion

conversion from residential to offices in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton

Grade 2 listed building conversion to modern offices in Tettenhall Rd, Wolverhampton.

We were the principal contractor on a project to convert a Grade 2 listed building to multiple office spaces.

Our work included a complete roof refurbishment, Internal refurbishment, Sash window refurbishment, Coving made to measure on site, Groundworks in order to build structural retaining walls, Brickwork and re-inforced concrete to retaining wall.

The property required a complete roof refurbishment and was to further enhanced with Sika waterproofing and using natural roof slates.

This project was particularly challenging as the roof structure was not common, made up of many round shapes and unique profiles. Each slate was cut to measure to form a smooth finish on the unique roof structure.

Furthermore some internal and general repair/refurbishment work was completed. Overall the client was happy with the finish and the project was completed within the original timescale.

Internal construction works and mezzanine floor

Extended seating area mezzanine floor for popular restaurant in Sutton Coldfield.

A fast growing and popular restaurant in Sutton Coldfield needed a solution for creating more covers at their premises. We discussed a mezanine floor solution which would be possible due to high ceilings.

Our works included fitting a structural mezzanine intermediate floor with a combined metal frame and staircase. The solution was made to measure and customised to plan. Other work included creating space for built in freezer, staff toilets and a managers room. Fire escape stairs also built on site.

Due to nature of the location and heavy pedestrian foot flow we needed to complete works with minimum disturbance and keeping to high safety and quality standards.

Installing Cable ducting and concrete foundations along pathway. We ensured that the work was well organised and managed to minimise risk and completed the project to a very high standard of finish.

Sub base were well prepared and levelled in order to provide sufficient strength for commercial vehicles to be parked during market days.

Subcontractor of civil works and floors for a 12 house Residential development in Telford.

Ironbridge is the picturesque location based near telford in central England. We worked on 12 new detached houses development as a sub contractor of civil works and block and beam floors.

We worked on invert levels and falls and drains, excavating and installing new drainage systems, installing block and beam flooring to all properties.

Our work also included various brickwork and waterproofing retaining walls. The end result has delivered a high standard of finish and a successful project for the developer with the houses gaining a lot of interest from the local community and further afield.

6th Floor student accommodation construction works

Structural works to student accommodation at upper floors in Nottingham Building.

We were subcontracted to work on student accommodations largely consisting of structural works at top levels of the site. Works included steel works, Metsec construction and Siniat external sheathing board fitting at the upper floor on the 6th and 7th floor. Working at height required particular attention to safety and procedures.

Our experience, quality workmanship and efficiency has meant we have worked on a number of sites as a subcontractor for commercial builds and subcontractor for residential builds.
